Annie: ok so i’m getting maddie those headphones6:02 PM
Jake: wait. i literally already bought them 💀6:03 PM
Kate: can we just ask her what she wants??6:03 PM
Leo: and ruin the surprise? no 🙄6:04 PM
Relax, that’s what wishu is for.
It’s a list behind a link, not another chat. Maddie makes it in the app and sends it your way. You see what’s been claimed. She doesn’t.
6:04 PMMaddie doesn’t know what she’s getting. That’s the whole point.
Every gift on her list looks the same, so she can’t tell which ones are claimed. Only her guests see who’s getting what.
My birthday
May 14Green, 12 oz
“Dark Days”, the new one
Two, any date
Beige or gray
What Maddie sees: no way to tell what’s claimed and what’s still up for grabs.
How it’ll work
1.Build your list in the app: paste a link from any store or add things by hand.
2.Drop the link in the group chat. Guests don’t need an app or an account.
3.Your friends sort it out. Who’s getting what stays between them.6:06 PM
What we’re building
Here’s what goes into the first version.
Multiple lists
One for your birthday, one for the holidays, and one just because.
Follow your friends
Follow their lists so every wishlist is close at hand, and get a heads-up before their big day.
Who sees your list
Anyone who visits your profile, only people with the link, or just you. Change it anytime.
Stories and QR code
Post your list to your story as an image with the link, or put a QR code on the invitation.
Anti-wishlist
What not to get you. Guests see it right next to your list.
Later: Lumi, an AI helper that suggests gifts to match a friend’s taste. And group gifts: guests can suggest their own idea and chip in together, and the list’s owner won’t see a thing.
6:07 PMMaddie: hiii what are we talking about 👀6:09 PM
Annie: NOTHING6:09 PM
Jake: ANYWAY. lists for Christmas too?? 🎄6:09 PM
Be the first to make your wishlist.
Drop your email below and we’ll let you know the moment the app hits the App Store and Google Play.
